Valérie Tasso is a writer, sexologist and researcher. She graduated in Economics and Applied Foreign Languages in Besançon (France) and obtained an MBA from the University of Salzburg. She settled in Spain in 1991 and, in June 2006, finished a postgraduate degree in sexology at IN.CI SEX, Universidad de Alcalá de Henares. In 2003, she published her first work, Diario de una ninfomana (Diary of a Nymphomaniac), which was adapted for the cinema, premiered in Spain at the end of 2008 and was shown in 43 countries. This was followed in 2004 by Paris la nuit; in March 2006, El otro lado del sexo (The Other Side of Sex); February 2008, Antimanual de sexo (An Anti-manual of Sex). The success of these works, published in over 20 countries, has placed her among the best-known Spanish-language writers in the world.
