Txell Darné, the co-author of 'An Ordinary Mountain' has illustrated various books for children and young readers for publishing houses throughout Spain. She has taken part in high profile fairs and exhibitions including Ilustrarte (Portugal), the Bologna Children's Book Fair (Italy) and the Bratislava Biennial. Her work has also been exhibited in the Otani Memorial Art Museum in Japan. In 2003 she won the first illustration prize awarded by the Instituto de la Juventud.
