THAÍS PRAT SIERRA (Barcelona, 1977) is a special educational needs teacher with qualifications in educational psychology, nursing and a master in Nutrition and Health. Her day to day at school is all about communicating her passion for learning. Her concern for sharing lessons that can be applied outside the classroom is what has inspired her to develop strategies to support independence and resilience. Hence this project, a resource to encourage these very skills through poetry which, like music, always helps to pave the way forward. She has three children and lives in Barcelona. LAURA MARTÍNEZ (Barcelona, 1977) is a multidisciplinary artist. She studied Fine Arts and Fashion Design in Barcelona. In her studio which doubles as a graphic design and textiles workshop, DLÄB, she works with various printing techniques, such as silk-screen printing, engraving and illustration.
