Sonia Fernández-Vidal (Barcelona, 1978) graduated in physics from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and has a PhD in Quantum Information and Optics. She divides her time between research and her other passions: teaching, both at the university and other adult education centres, and talks introducing Quantum Physics to non-academic audiences. She has published two novels in which her scientific knowledge enriches the plots. These two texts have been very warmly received by readers: Quantic Love and La puerta de los tres cerrojos (The Door With Three Locks), published in six and eleven languages respectively. Her latest publication is Desayuno con partículas (Breakfast With Particles) is a popular science book about Quantum Physics which mixes daily life with the secrets of the universe.
