Silvia Martínez-Markus was born in Madrid, is a Germanist and took literary studies at Madrid's Taller de Escritura. She combines writing for young people with teaching and her passion for gastronomy. Her publications are: Buenos días princesa! (Good Morning Princess!) (Sophie Scholl: Long Live Freedom!); La algeria de ser uno más (The Joy of Being Like All The Rest) Familias que crecen (Growing Families) and La cuchara de oro (The Golden Spoon).
