Sara Pomarón

Born in Zaragoza in 1984. At the age of 16 and with the help of her uncle Carlos Pomarón began to make her first origami figures as a member of the Zaragoza Origami Club (GZP). She studied graphic design at the Escuela de Arte de Zaragoza, moving to Barcelona after two years. In Zaragoza she was active in the GZP and designed a new, updated logo for the group. She took part in the Luis Blas Memorial friends’ reunion in July 2007 and in September 2009 produced the catalogue for the exhibition ‘Exporigami’ in Zaragoza, which showcased a collection of original figures from the best origami practitioners in the world.

With all she has learned from Carlos and other members of the GZP she began a project to produce a book with simple figures to allow the very young to learn about origami, a fun and entertaining book with a complete selection of models.
