Sandra Becerril received an honorary doctorate in Education from the Congreso Ibero- americano (Perú, 2008). She has published in several countries and her work includes "La calle de las brujas" [Witch Street] (2004), "Suspiro Azul" [Blue Sigh](2007), "Antes de mí, después" [Before my Afterwards](2012), "La noche de los piratas" [Night of the Pirates](2013), "El nombre de las nubes" [The Name of the Clouds](2013), "Ámame más" [Love me More] (2014), "A quién estás pensando en matar" [Who are You Going to Kill](2015), "Desde tu infierno" [From Your Hell] (2016) and the bestseller, "Valle de fuego" [Valley of Fire](2018). She is also a renown screen-writer with thirty screen plays to her name which have been produced in Hollywood, Spain, Morocco, Canada and Mexico. She has directed three feature films and won several prizes at international festivals, such as "Best Horror Screen-play" and "Best Horror Film".
