Rut Pedreño (Valladolid, 1996) is an illustrator and cartoonist who graduated in Fine Art from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2018. She is the author of the comic-style book Home (Sallybooks, 2021), and in 2019 she collaborated with Alta Tension magazine and Un fanzine in 2021. As an illustrator, she has worked with the motion graphics studio Maaambo!, the magazine M21, the publisher La Galera, the music project Hits With Tits and the board game Ladrillazo. She participated in CreaVa20 with the exhibition project Duda x Certeza together with Henar Bayón in the La Comercial creative space. Her awards include the Domestika Scholarship 2018, the Espacio en Blanco open call 2019 and her recent selection in the XII Ibero-America Ilustra Catalogue organised by the Guadalajara International Book Fair and Fundación SM.
