Born in San Sebastián in 1971, he has two great passions: chess and literature. He stopped competing in international chess tournaments in order to finish his studies and ended up with a degree in Chemistry from the Universidad del País Vasco. He currently works as a chemist in Barcelona, where he lives with his family. A big reader of noir novels, he writes in secret and normally keeps his manuscripts in a safe, but in this time he decided to let them see the light of day. 'El signo del dragón' ('The Sign of the Dragon') is the first book in the Zodiac Trilogy.
