Ricardo Abrantes Bernardo has a degree in Philosophy and Letters (Art) from the Complutense University of Madrid. He teaches History of Art at the Faculty of Geography and History of UCM. He combines teaching Spanish students with giving courses for pupils from US students on exchange programmes at UCM (Boston, California State, Georgetown, Indianna, Marquette, Vanderbilt, Wisconsin and others). He also teaches for the Instituto Internacional de Madrid at Syracuse University, and has done at NYU and SUNY.
