Pilar Redondo grew up in a large family where stories were abundant. As a child, on spring and summer afternoons, she would go up to the roof of her house with a notebook and pencil and spent hours watching sunsets behind the impenetrable walls of TV antennas. There she finds inspiration to create stories that she says the wind brought her. She kept her writing a secret until a friend encouraged her to publish. In April of 2014, she published Tito, my Best Friend, her first illustrated book. She has worked full time in oral storytelling since January of 2011, and spends her time been swimming amongst books and stories. She specializes in promoting reading through illustrated books, and teaches storytelling workshops for families and educators. She is a member of the Andalucia Guild of Oral Storytellers (GNOA)
