Pilar López Ávila is a secondary school teacher and has received several prizes in children's literature competitions. Besides her best-selling collection "Las divertidas aventuras de las letras" (The Letters' Exciting Adventures), she is also the author of "Las letras van al cole" (The Letters go to School), writes poetry, and collaborates with various magazines.
