Pere Ginard was born in Mallorca in 1974, he is an illustrator, cinematographer, and co-founder of the multidisciplinary studio Laboratorium. He has won several prizes as an illustrator, including the Injuve prize, 2000; the City of Alicante picture book prize, and the Juneda children and young adult’s illustration prize.

Estrella Borrego was born in Cordoba. She has a degree in Journalism (UCM) and studied a doctorate in contemporary poetry (UAB) and a master’s in entrepreneurial management for reading and writing (UNEX). For four years she was the director of cultural and educational magazines at Scholastic in London. She is a translator and writer. Since 2017 she has worked as the editor for the children’s catalogue at Libros del Zorro Rojo and directs the project ‘escribirparaniñasyniños.com’ dedicated to fostering cultural activity in rural Andalusia.
