Miriam Sugranyes was born in Barcelona and now divides her time between that city and London. She graduated in Philosophy from the Universitat de Barcelona and, after taking a number of courses in Animation and Audiovisual Communication, studied a Masters in Visual Arts, specialising in illustration, at the University of the Arts, London. She now works as a freelance artistic producer and illustrator in both publishing and advertising, in addition to contributing to artistic projects for such organisations as CRIN (Child Rights International Network).
