Miguel Dueñas (Madrid, 1975) is a writer and session musician. He has participated in concerts and television programs as a drummer, percussionist, and musical director. He is the author of the novels Suficiente Soga [Enough Rope] (3rd Francisco Ayala Narrative Prize), La Crecida [The Rise] (13th Fray Luis de León Prize) and La Prohibición del Jade [The Jade Ban] (La Huerta Grande, 2019). He is also the author of short stories, for which he has won a number of prizes.
