Miguel Ángel Pérez Arteaga (Zaragoza, 1965) is an illustrator and graphic designer. He is director of the graphic design atelier, Batidora de Ideas, has taken part in numerous solo and group shows of painting, design and photography and worked with various publications. He was selected for the group exhibitions 'Ilustrísimos: a survey of illustration for children and young people in Spain', at the Bologna Children's Book Fair and 'Ready to Read. Book Design from Spain. A selection of the best books published in Spain', organised by Spain's Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Ministry for Industry. In 2017 he was a finalist in the first Concurso Internacional de Ilustración in Amarante (Portugal). He has created, written and illustrated stories for children and adults which have been published in Spain, Mexico and Brazil.
