María Martínez-Sagrera graduated in Anglo-german Philology, has a diploma in Religious Science Studies and a further degree in Theology. She lives in Seville with her husband and four children. She published her novel La cara oculta de Pedro (The Hidden Face of Pedro) with Ediciones Mensajero. She currently teaches a module on child abuse in the Faculty of Law and Criminology at the Universidad de Sevilla's Victimology programme.
