The author has worked as a columnist on several publications including El País, the printed Comunidad Valenciana, Las Provincias, and the newspaper Diario Levante-EMV, and writes literary critique in Posdata. Recurring themes in her work are close human relationships: family, couples and friends in modern urban middle-class settings, that explore the psychological depths of her characters. The large and small dramas in a domestic or work situation, modern social issues, class prejudice in contrast with the urge to rebel, the situation of women in Spain in the 20th and 21st centuries, the consequences of different political regimes on the lives of today's citizens, people's internal conflicts and how they affect behaviour.
