Manuel Moreno Alonso is a Lecturer in Contemporary History at the University of Seville, after years of teaching in the same position at the “Colegio Español” and at the University College in London. His academic studies have been particularly focused on the period between the Enlightenment and Romanticism in Spain, on the foreign relations of Spain with France and England during the Napoleonic era and on the life and works of José María Blanco White.
