JOSEP M. ROMERO (Barcelona, 1956) has been travelling from the age of seventeen, first hitchhiking throughout Europe, then in Asia, at the time when it was being rediscovered by hippies, and later on other continents. He also participated in the Rael adventure, the first Spanish sailing boat ever to arrive in Antarctica. As a result of these trips he has written several books, among which the Altaïr Guide of India, the travel story El Jardín de Hielo, the recipe book El libro de la cocina exótica and the detective novel Mortal Sahel - in Catalan. He collaborates with various media.
