Jorge M. Mier (1989) was born and lives in Mexico City but, the son of a Mexican father and a Spanish mother, he has always had a strong connection with Spain. He has been obsessed with telling stories since he was very young. The time he spent working in the family bookshop as a teenager was not wasted. So far he has published Luz de luna (‘Moonlight’), an account of the ascent of the highest volcanos in Mexico, and 8848 Clama Everest¸ which won the Premio Desnivel de LIteratura.
