Jesús Carlos Gómez Martínez (Pamplona, 1961) is a journalist and writer. His long career has been marked by opinion articles, cinema reviews, short essays, short fiction and novels that have brought him around 50 national and international prizes. Among these are the Ciudad de Huelva y Platero Prize (UN, Geneva) and Querido Borges Prize (California, USA) as well as the Francisco Ynduráin de las Letras Prize for young writers (1991).
