Javier Uriz is a psychologist. He gained his degree from the University of Louvain, and works in the world of business as a human resources consultant. He has performed in-depth analyses of businesses from many different sectors: health, technology, mining, aviation, food production, banking, supermarkets, research, public administration, car manufacturing, etc. In 1998 he founded his own consultancy firm Javier Uriz Ltd., where his work focuses on the culture of business. 'La consultora' is his first novel, although he is the author of two books on business, 'La subjetividad de la Organización. El poder más allá de las estructuras', and 'Homo Valens. Naturaleza, origen y gestión del valor en la empresa'.
