Javier Argüello is an Argentinian writer living in Barcelona. He has published the books Siete cuentos imposibles (Seven Impossible Tales, Lumen, 2002) and El mar de todos los muertos (The Sea of All the Dead, Lumen, 2008). He occasionally contributes to El País, has edited various anthologies of poetry and teaches in the Ateneu Barcelonès school of writing. His novels have been sold in five countries.
