Born in Madrid when punk was about to take off, he grew up in one of the dormitory cities around Madrid, 'the most mediocre place on Earth' (his own words). To escape that environment, from very early on he started writing, composing songs, drawing comics and gorging on double bills at the local cinema. He has played in various bands and recorded a couple of albums. He also drew and wrote for some fanzines that have since kicked the bucket. He currently produces sound artefacts in his recording studio, composes and thrashes drums with as much enthusiasm as malcoordination for his various musical projects. He also writes for the magazine Prótesis, where he has a regular column 'The Japanese Cowboy'. Goddamn Earthlings! is his first novel.
