ISABEL GARCÍA ZARZA has qualifications from Salamanca University in teaching English and Science, courses which she completed in the UK and Belgium. She began as a journalist with Reuters in Brussels, with whom she worked for ten years, including stints in Cuba as a correspondent. After her time in Cuba she decided to return to Europe, specifically Italy, where again she worked with various media outlets before returning to Spain. Since 2005 she has lived in Madrid with her family, working as special reporter for the newspaper El Mundo's magazine section "Yo Dona". Her first book was La Casa de Cristal.
