Inma Muñoz is an author, editor and storyteller who writes books for children and adults. She has studied widely at the Writer’s School in Madrid and has also been mentored by Pablo Albo and Gracia Iglesias. She is trained in theatre, dance, and storytelling. She published her first book, “El puntito Chimpún” (A dot called Chipmunk) and began her career as a storyteller, presenting the book at book fairs in Madrid, Valencia, and Guadalajara; the Story Marathon, Guadalajara; Parla cuenta; the Madrid book salon; as well as in libraries in Alcalá de Henares and León; the Fuenlabrada library network; and schools in the Community of Madrid. After publication of her first book, she started her own publishing house, Ocho en punto, through which she published “El Sol de Elma” (Elma’s Sun), “Un lugar para Gusti” (A place for Gusti), “Sigue la flecha” (Follow the arrow) and “El Libro bombático” (The bombatic book). The last of these, “Sigue la flecha” and “El Libro bombático”, were selected among the 100 best books of the year.
