Giny Valrís is a young writer from Madrid who is currently studying for a degree in teaching and Spanish language and literature. She won the VII Short Story and Story-telling Prize awarded by the Hijos de Mary Shelley Foundation in 2006. Titles of particular note among her published works are 'Choose Cthulhu' (Celaeno Books), which has been translated into various languages, and the anthologies 'El futuro es bosque' ('The Future is a Forest') and 'Cuentos para Gaia' ('Stories for Gaia') (Apache Libros).
