Gemma Ventura Farré (El Vendrell, 1990) is an elementary school teacher specializing in music. Since 2015, she has worked at the digital magazine Catorce (National Culture Award), where she writes pensive texts and has deep conversations with very different people, from writers and therapists to pastors and musicians. She has written the Canta Gran de l'Auditori de Barcelona, has collaborated with the Palau de la Música, and has written the lyrics for several songs. She also directs the La Balconada Poetry Festival. The Law of Winter (Josep Pla Award 2023) is her first novel.
