Francesc Miralles (Barcelona, 1968) studied German Language and Literature and now works as an editor. After writing essays on Franz Kafka and Herman Hesse, he decided to write novels. His books have won various prestigious literary awards and many of them, whether for young or older readers, have been bestsellers. Among his successes are Amor en minuscula (Love in lower-case letters) and Ojalá estuvieras aquí (Wish You Were Here) which have been published in fourteen and seven countries respectively. In 2009 he won the 8th Ciudad de Torrevieja Prize with La ultima respuesta (The Last Answer), co-written with Alex Rovira and so far translated into eight languages. Another important aspect to his output is self-help, coaching and motivational writing: works include El zen de la empressa (Zen in the Workplace), Conversaciones sobre la felicidad (Conversations about Happiness), 365 ideas para cambiar tu vida (365 ideas for Changing Your Life) Atrévete a pensar (Dare to Think), Cineterapia (Cinetherapy) and La dieta espiritual (The Spiritual Diet).
