Fernanda Krahn-Uribe was born in 1967 in New York to Chilean parents, and grew up in Sitges, Catalonia. She studied English Philology at the University of Barcelona. She has published two novels for young people in Spain. She currently lives with her daughters in Austria, where she is a professor at the University of Graz.
