Elisenda Roca (Barcelona, 1963) is a journalist and writer. She has worked for different radio and television stations and print outlets and has published 'Vamos a ser padres' ('We're Going To Be Parents' and '¿Qué puedo comer si estoy embarazada?' ('What Can I Eat If I'm Pregnant?') with Dr Carlota Basil. She has published 'M’expliques un conte? ' ('Will You Tell Me A Story?') for very young children and, more recently, the 'Mejora' ('Improve') series about social behaviour for young children with illustrations by Cristina Losantos. The series currently includes six volumes and has been translated into English, Korean and Chinese among other languages. Among her most recent publications, two illustrated books stand out: 'La pequeña Amelia' ('Little Amelia'), with illustrations by Paula Bonet, and 'Tú y yo' ('You and Me'). The nicest story in the world, with illustrations by Guridi.
