(Girona, 1956) She studied Psychology, but has been a writer since 1985, when her first novel came out. She has since published more than sixty titles, for children and young people, and won fifteen or so literary prizes, including from critics (the Premi Serra d'Or de la Crítica), from readers (Protagonista Jove) and from librarians (White Ravens).
