David Monteagudo (Viveiro, Lugo, 1962), a Galician who lives in Catalonia, discovered his literary vocation at 40. Acantilado have published his novels End (2009), Marco Montes (2010) and Brañaganda (2011), as well as his collection of short stories The Building (2012). He has been translated into six languages.
