Cristina Araújo Gámir has a degree in English literature from the Complutense University in Madrid. Following her studies, she worked in a dubbing studio, revising documentary translations for the History Channel, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, BBC and Telemadrid. She began writing when she was very small and her stories have won various prizes and been published in literary magazines such as Archiletras. Since 2011 she has lived in Frankfurt, where she began to write again. Mira a esa chica (‘Look At That Girl’) is her first novel and an extremely worth winner of the XVIII Premio Tusquets Editores.
