Constantino Ávila was born in Ayora, Valencia (Spain) in August 1944. He graduated in Teaching and specialized in Mathematics. He currently teaches this subject in a Secondary School in his native town.
His experience as a teacher has taught him that most current relevant issues –violence, racism or intolerance- should be addressed at school.
He is the author of the book Otro camino a Santiago: de Áyora a Compostela en línea recta, that breaks all the molds compared to other traditional books that treat one of the most important routes in the Spanish geography: the Way of St. James.
He loves nature, the environment and the quiet life in the country.
One of his works, El Legado de los zares, is meant to be a useful tool for education.
