Belén Martínez was born on the 22nd of February 1990 in Cádiz, the same day her city's carnival celebrations began, and perhaps that is why she has always felt drawn to music, words and magic. She began writing when she was very small and hasn't stopped since. She studied nursing and currently combines her work as a matron with writing and editorial adaptation.
