Belén Boville Luca de Tena has a degree in Geography and History from UCM, a Masters in Environmental Education (UNED/UNESCO) and a post-graduate degree in Communication Management from IE. She has worked as a journalist, a theatre and film scriptwriter , a university professor and an environmental communication consultant in Spain, Mexico, Peru and Bolivia. She has published 'La guerra de la cocaína' ('The Cocaine War') (Debate/Random House, 2000; Algora Publishers, 2004), plays, and numerous journalistic and academic articles.
