Begoña Oro was born in Zaragoza and has always been linked to reading and writing. For many years, she worked in publishing, before embarking on writing her own stories. Her works have won numerous prizes: Pomelo y limón [Grapefruit and Lemon] won the Gran Angular 2011 and the Hache prize 2012, and in 2018 she was awarded the Jaén prize for Tú tan cáncer y yo tan virgo [Your Such a Cancer and I'm Such a Virgo], the Lazarillo prize for Un fuego rojo [A Red Fire], and the Artes y Letras prize for Children's Literature for her career. She is the creator of unforgettable stories and characters, such as the squirrel Rasi and Misterios a domicilio [Home Mysteries].
