Araceli Esteves (Barcelona, 1960) graduated from the School of Translators and Interpreters at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, specialising in English and Russian. She lived in London and Brussels but now lives in Mallorca, where she has worked as an English teacher. Her microstories have been published in various magazines and her work is included in the anthologies Sails to the Wind (Cuadernos del Vigía) and Piranha Sea (Menoscuarto). Cracks in the Air is her first book of microstories.
