Antonio Sandoval is an author, environmentalist and ornithologist. Among his works are Para que sirven las aves? (What Are Birds Good For?), Las aves marinas de Estaca de Bares: Un diario personal (The Marine Birds of Estace de Bares: A Personal Diary), He contributes to various media organs and has participated in numerous environmental education, appreciation of patrimony and nature tourism projects, and is attached to several organisations dealing with the study and conservation of the natural world. Emilio Urberuaga was awarded the Premio Nacional de Ilustración in 2011 for his artistic career, which began in the 1980s. Since then his work has been shown throughout the world. Creator of the famous image of "Manolito Gafotas", he has illustrated close to a hundred children's books. He has received other awards, such as the VII Premio Anaya, the Premio Crítica Serra d'Or, and has been included in the White Ravens list.
