Guillermo Juan José Alcalde Gómez is the given name of GUIMO, a native of Madrid, where he was born on 25 June 1944. He has been president of the Professional Illusionists Club which has its headquarters in Madrid since 1990, a position he has decided to relinquish at the end of 2006. Ángela & Guimo is the stage name of this international ‘magic attraction’, who have toured with their show ‘Illusion and Fantasy’ since 1964, covering Spanish territory and visiting other cities throughout the world as requested. They have happy memories of performances at the Zarzuela Palace in Madrid for the prince and princesses when they were children.

They have been and still are Honourable Members of the International Magicians Society, founded years ago in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, by disappeared colleague Roberto Conde dos Reis Cavalero ‘Conde Ramses’.
