Andrés González-Barba is a writer and journalist. His literary debut Los diarios de Regent Street (The Regent Street Diaries, 2010) is a tribute to the world of Arthur Conan Doyle and, in particular, the legend of Sherlock Holmes. After this he published El sueño de Titania (Titania's Dream, 2014), a young adult title inspired by his daughter Sofía. He has also published: El último tren de la estación del norte (The Last Train from Estación del Norte, 2015), a noir novel of mystery and horror, La noche de Lear y otros cuentos navideños (The Night of Lear and Other Christmas Stories, 2016) y El enigma Murillo (The Murillo Enigma, 2017), which recounts the looting of works of art during the French occupation of the Andalusian capital in the War of Independence. He wass shortlisted for the I Premio Internacional de Relatos Cortos Ciudad de Sevilla for «Las voces del mar» (Voices of the Sea).
