Ana Maria Guasch is Professor of Art History in the Universidad de Barcelona and an art critic.
Since 1984, her research has centred on the study of the creative processes of the international art of the second half of the 20th century. She has led courses and seminars, including various international seminars for the Universidad Complutense de Madrid summer school (El Escorial), and has participated in numerous symposia and congresses, such as the Simposio Internacional La crítica de arte en un mundo global (Macba, Barcelona 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008), eI Congreso Internacional de Estudios Visuales (Madrid, 2004) and Internacional Learning from the Guggenheim Bilbao: Five Years Later (Reno-Nevada 2004). She was Visiting y Guest Professor in the universities of Princeton, Yale and Columbia from 2000 to 2009.
