Almudena Suarez was born in Barcelona in 1969. She has a degree in Geography and History. She began her career as an illustrator in 2008, making use of the varied techniques she had learned in other fields. She is currently continuing her studies at the Escola de la Dona, where she has had the opportunity to study with professionals including Ignasi Blanch, Rebeca Luciani, Roger Olmos and Cristina Losantos. Núria Parera was born in Barcelona in 1972. She started out as a journalist but soon discovered that she preferred telling and making up stories. She has been writing scripts for television series and publishing children's stories for over ten years. She is the author of five stories about the different neighbourhoods of Barcelona, which form the series "Las Siete Vidas de la Gata Marga" ("The Seven Lives of Marga the Cat"), illustrated by Pilarín Bayés. She also wrote the text and songs for the Yoko cantata, which premiered in 2014 at the Teatro de La Palma in Teià (Barcelona).
