Alfonso Salazar studied Social and Cultural Anthropology and works as a cultural manager. He is the translator of Advice for Young Writers by Charles Baudelaire (2001) and the author of the collection of poems Love without an object (2004) and Life part 2 (2019) and the novels Arrabal’s Melody (2003), The detective of Zaidín (2009), The strongest blows (2013) and For such a long journey (2014).This tetralogy was published in 2019 by Ediciones PG with the titles: A sentimental sparrow, If you could love me, With your ivory teeth and For such a long journey. He is also the author of children’s story collection Pawi in the green factory (2003). He regularly holds Visual Poetry exhibitions and belongs to the editorial team of the cultural magazine www.olvidos.es. He collaborates with media including InfoLibre and La voz de Granada and has given talks and conferences in various cities and countries.
