Albert Asensio studied Graphic Design at EADT and then completed a postgraduate degree in Illustration at Eina Barcelona (2006-7) and two courses in Drawing and Painting at Central Saint Martin's in London in 2009. In 2007 he began to work as an illustrator for publishers including Anaya, Juventud, Random House Mondadori, Teide, Cruilla and Planeta and papers such as La Vanguardia. He has received a Laus de Bronce award for his poster for Fira Tàrrega 2010 (through the Miquel Puig graphic design studio), an award for Rudyard Kipling's 'Kim', awards from Editorial Juventud and the Book Bank of Venezuela and three Junceda prizes for the best book cover, best advertisement and best scientific illustration.
