Ada Parellada. I was born in an inn, and casseroles, lunch boxes and whisks were my first playmates. Ever since I can remember I have devoted myself to COOKING in capital letters, because I am just as likely to be making a roast chicken as I am to be appearing in different media as a food expert, or running cookery workshops for children, or writing books in which food is the protagonist. If you want to come and see me, you'll find me in Semproniana, a restaurant right in the middle of Barcelona, where I make cannelloni with black sausage, monkfish stew, duck with pears and chocolate cake.
