Premier Spanish Literary Prizes  

In Spain there is a wide range of literary prizes from those awarded by the Ministry of Culture to those awarded by publishing houses, municipalities, critics’ associations and other institutions. These literary prizes are a sign of recognition and a quality mark granted to the best Spanish books. 

Translation Grants  

Spain's Ministry of Culture is keen to support the translation into other languages of works written in Spanish, Catalan, Basque and Galician. Each year grants are awarded for this kind of translation, the deadline usually falling at the end of March/April.
