The arrival of the year 2000 kept humanity on the edge of their seats on New Years Eve of 1999, a night when the world’s technology could have been completely paralyzed. The effects were, almost certainly, exaggerated but it helped everyone realize how our society and daily lives have become so dependent on technology.
